Whale Fall
I am excited to share my illustrations for the great organization @oceangeneration, which is working to protect the oceans. The illustration could be used on t-shirt and tote bags.
It is a beautiful whale fall phenomenon. Whale fall is an ecosystem formed when whales die and fall into the deep ocean. A single whale carcass can sustain an ecosystem dominated by decomposers for centuries. In the deep sea of the North Pacific Ocean, at least tens of thousands of species of organisms are maintained by the meridian, which promotes the prosperity of deep-sea organisms.
I tried my best to express this phenomenon in a positive way. As you can see, the whale‘s body is full of flowers and tall trees grow to carry the sun, the sun and the sunset. This is the whale that sustains our survival, this is the ocean that sustains the pulse of the planet.
